New adventures
It was pretty fucking cold again today, but I had to go into the city to get more Monster Energy, and while I was there, I decided to also buy some other cool stuff in a thrift store. I got 260 Pokémon card sleeves, a Japanese holo card of Gengar, a Funko Pop! of Shank (what a fucking name...) from Ralph Breaks The Internet, because it was 5 buckaroos and I like her design and I can maybe make a custom figurine with the parts, and six CDs. I got Vs. by Pearl Jam, Dirt by Alice In Chains, Holy Wood by Marilyn Manson, The Definitive Alice Cooper by... you get it, Stiff Upper Lip by AC/DC and Load by Metallica. I wasn't done looking through all the CDs yet when the store closed. :[ Maybe I'll go check out the last CDs I didn't get to check tomorrow before I have Rose's birthday party. Don't know if I can be bothered to, though.
In other news, Yori recently went cycling and they found papers around burial sites. They picked them up and took them home, and today I tried to transcribe one of them, but the handwriting is almost intelligible and what I CAN read is hard to make heads or tails of. It's incoherent rambling over and over about a conspiracy theory concerning the burial sites. We knew that before, because Fionn's family actually came across the guy once and he was talking about it, but the parts I've transcribed don't help all that much with clearing things up. Yori will bring the papers to Rose's birthday tomorrow, though, so hopefully it'll be a bit easier to comprehend when I don't have to read off of a picture on my laptop. Either way, it's pretty interesting. Yori sent me pictures of all the pages, and the scribbling fills the pages completely. There are printings of texts regarding the burial sites drawn and written over, as well as pages just full with handwritten text, and the notes even circle all the way around the page. No space left blank. There are seven pages Yori found so far, or at least seven sides of paper fully filled. And the guy also wrote some notes on the information board by one of the burial sites. It's genuinely pretty insane. But that makes it a fun thing to research!
