Time is fake and life's alright
May. 29th, 2024 10:00 pmIt feels so surreal to not have school after I had to work so fucking hard for school for a while. It's a bit scary to have every day just free right now, but at the same time I do enjoy the freedom, and I really needed a break. My mother's already bombarding me with the next troubles, of course, because life can't ever be fully good, can it? But having time to just do whatever without really needing to feel guilty about not doing schoolwork is really nice.
In even better news, I finally found someone selling a KMFDM shirt quite close-by. Not close enough to go there myself, or anything, but I generally dislike shipping from far or abroad. Environment and all. Anyway, the shirt's a longsleeve (would've preferred a T-shirt, because I usually only use longsleeves as undershirt) and it's not official merch, but I managed to get it for cheaper than most official merchandise, and it's second-hand, so that's nice. I try to mostly buy my clothes second-hand. Buying new clothes makes me feel a bit icky because of how the clothing industry is, ya know? Oh well, I'm glad I managed to find anything. Barely anyone listens to KMFDM around here, so it's hard to thrift CDs and merch from anyone close-by. I think I also want to buy official KMFDM merch sometime, but I'll have to check how their shipping works and how expensive it is.
I guess I do have another shirt that says KMFDM, though. Thalia made a design that she got printed on a shirt for my birthday. She drew inside jokes and references to my personality (for as far as I have one, lol) and she also put some of my stupid low-effort Paint drawings on there, LOL. But one of the things she put on there was "KMFDM" (because she knows I love that band). Had to explain to my mother what it was and all... But yeah, that shirt fucking rocks! Not sure if I've talked about it on here yet, so I wanted to talk about it real quick. It's even a black shirt with red text. Man, that chick knows me.
Anyway, my KMFDM longsleeve will arrive tomorrow already. Pretty excited, honestly.
You get excited about physical stuff when your mental health sucks, I guess, LOL.
