Alright, so I haven't posted in a while, but I've been pretty busy.
Wanted to watch the Lions vs. Rams game because it's only the MOST FUN GAME OF THE SEASON, but it started at 2:20 am on Monday for me, so I'd need to go to bed very early to be able to watch the game, since I couldn't sleep after, because I'd have to get ready for work. I just couldn't fucking sleep, though. So I ended up reading about 80 pages of Fight Club and then I still wasn't really tired, but I tried to sleep anyway, and eventually I did manage to fall asleep.
My first workday on Monday. It was... I don't know how else to put it but surreal. The morning after, I woke up thinking "I had a dream where I worked behind a cash register for hours." and then I remembered that that had actually happened. I had actually had a workday and worked behind the counter in the afternoon. It hasn't felt real since. The activities themselves were fine, but the day does drag on when you don't have a lot of different things to do. I felt like a zombie for the last one and a half hours behind the cash register. Then I also had to almost run to catch the bus, and I was on time but that MOTHERFUCKER of a bus driver had driven away two minutes early, so I put up my hand to say "I want on!", but he fucking put his hand up too and drove away with a completely EMPTY bus. So then I had to wait an hour. That wasn't great. But travelling on the bus is pretty relaxing, so whatever. I even sat in the back of the bus on the way back, so that was extra chill.
On Tuesday I bought... way too much stuff. :P The only things I really needed were more Monster Energy, sleeves for my Pokémon and Lorcana trading cards and a longsleeve shirt to put under my work clothes, but I also bought more second-hand Pokémon and Lorcana cards and the second-hand store also had postcards from 1995 of the X-Men and they had 2015 Disney postcards with pictures of visual designs/developments of their animated movies and I thought they looked SO cool, so I got a lot of them. Needless to say, the wall above my desk is even more filled now, haha. And then I walked past this holiday/party/gag gifts store and I saw they had put up their Halloween stuff already, so I just HAD to have a look. Wanted to get a pocket knife at that store a while ago, but unfortunately that one's gone with the summer stuff. BUT, instead, the store was now filled with a lot of Halloween items. I got two really awesome pairs of socks, a barrier tape that says "KEEP OUT GO AWAY" and one that says "ZOMBIE OUTBREAK", a skeleton balaclava (I'd actually been looking for one already), a Halloween-themed table cloth and a bats garland. I spent WAY too much money, but I am really excited about my stuff. I'm trying to decide whether I just want to collect the Lorcana cards or if I also want to play the game. The cards could be worth more later on, but I only buy the less rare cards second-hand because I don't want to give Disney money by buying the cards new, so maybe it's not worth it and I should just try playing the game and having FUN instead. Crazy concept, I know.
Today I... slept away half the day again. Went to bed before midnight and when my mother came to wake me up (after I had decided to lie down for "just a bit longer"), she told me it was a quarter to noon. I still had to shower and pick up my meds refill and take care of some stuff relating to work and such, so I didn't get around to watching the Lions vs. Rams match yet, unfortunately. I did watch a big part of the Harris vs. Trump debate, but I'll save my thoughts on that for when I've watched the whole thing. Someone also got mad at me tonight because I said I dislike/hate Taylor Swift for no reason. It's not that deep and I really don't care about Taylor Swift, but this person's a big fan of her and they got so pissed at me hating someone for no reason. I'm not really mad at that, but I am kind of... surprised? Baffled? That some people are so sensitive to the opinions of others when it really doesn't matter. I don't go out of my way to hate on Taylor Swift, I just don't like her very much, so I don't see why that's a problem, but this person had to fucking step away from the online conversation because they were getting so angry at me. I just don't get humans, I guess. Oh well.
I kind of want to continue reading Fight Club, but for some ungodly reason I'm already tired again, so I guess I'll just go to sleep now. Another day of work tomorrow. I'm also driving to and from work with a coworker tomorrow because it's cheaper than the bus, but I really hate that. In the bus I can just sit in the back, put on my earphones and talk to no one. Now it's like my job starts earlier. And it's also pretty awkward because I've only met this man before once. But I guess it's not the end of the world. I'm just excited for this weekend, I guess. Then I can watch the game of last weekend back and watch the other game against the Buccaneers live on Sunday. At least I don't know who won the Lions vs. Rams match yet, so I hope I don't accidentally find out before watching the game, because that'd suck.
That's all I have to say for now, I think. Should log off and get to bed. Adios.
