My cold's not fully gone yet, but at least I can go back to school. You might be thinking "Derick, why the fuck are you excited to go back to school?", but it's almost the end of exam year, so I have a shit-ton of deadlines and tests and everything this week. I'd be pretty screwed if I were still too sick to go to school. Went to school for a test today and I flunked it, but it was a resit, so either my grade will stay the same or go up. Not really worried about it.
This weekend was pretty okay. The weather was nice on Saturday, so I went for a walk with my grandmother, and then yesterday Heinrich and I went to see Dune: Part Two in the cinema together, which was fun. Just like the first part, it's not something I'll soon rewatch, but it's cool to see on the big screen once. I think Feyd-Rautha was pretty fucking badass. In the book he wasn't quite as flashy or set-up as the main villain or whatever, but I liked this take on his character. I also think there were some funny parts in the movie. I think Part Two was better than Part One, but I think I still prefer the book. I'm interested to see if they'll also make a movie based on the second book, since the creator of the movies was interested in doing it if Dune: Part Two did well, and both critically and economically it did, so I'm guessing they'll do it. I didn't like Dune Messiah (the book) as much as Dune (the book), but I'd still be interested in seeing it translated into a movie.
In other news, today I changed phone carriers (to a cheaper one), and I figured I might as well just start using the phone I bought last year but haven't used yet. So I changed from my iPhone 6s to an iPhone 5s and I LOVE the size of this thing. Hate big phones! It's so pretty too... Anyway, you probably don't care to listen to me geek out about this thing, lol. Maybe one day I'll switch back to a feature phone, but for now I'm very happy with this one. Just have to copy my settings from my 6s and download the app I use for school and then I'll be mostly set for now. :] Alright, well, I need to go study and everything now. Cya.
