It's been a while
Apr. 29th, 2024 09:38 pmGot a sufficient mark on the German literature oral. Cool.
Had prom on Thursday. God, it sucked. It sucked so much. I already thought it'd be pretty bad, but it was even worse than I expected. All these dumb teenagers drinking until they're barely able to stand on their feet while dancing to remixes of pop hits. Left half an hour early, but that means I still wasted three hours of my life. The most fun was when some drunk guy threw some drunk girl's vape off the dancing stage and the girl was too drunk to just go down the stairs, so she took her shoes off and climbed over the railing in her prom dress to get to her vape. I thought she was going to fall flat on her face and flash everyone there, but unfortunately she somehow managed to get her vape unharmed. I just don't get it... Parties are supposed to be fun, but when I'm at these things and I look around, I can't think of anything but how badly I want humanity to go extinct because these people don't deserve to live and their enjoyment annoys the Hell out of me. Oh yeah, did I mention how one of my best friends got harassed by drunk guys and then had to fist-fight her way out at prom because she's an outcast? Oh well... Soon I'll be out of high school. Forever. Rid of these assholes. Forever.
Saturday was a lot of fun. It was King's Day in the Netherlands, which is a pretty dumb holiday in concept, but people do have city center-wide flea markets in pretty much every city. I got up somewhat early for it and I managed to get SO many cool things. I got a DVD of Donnie Darko, a DVD of Bowling For Columbine, some more DVDs, some VHS-tapes, some CDs, some books, a boardgame, Pokémon stickers, a Batman T-shirt, an icehockey stick, a soldier helmet and probably some more stuff I'm forgetting. Awesome. Haul. People looked at me all weird for hours for wearing my soldier helmet in public, but they can all just kiss my ass. I looked good. Or, at least, interesting. Speaking of interesting, I met up with someone I haven't seen in years that day. It was pretty cool. I didn't get on great with them before, but they're more chill now. A bit, at least. They also invited Heinrich over, and so then we were with six people, and it was a combination of my new and old social circle. Felt pretty strange, but God, I had fun.
Yesterday and today I haven't been doing much. Just watching a lot of Danny Phantom (I finished season one today), playing Fortnite for hours and drawing.
Tomorrow's my birthday. Woo-fucking-hoo. I don't really care much. I think I'll get up early because I want to get some Monster Energy in the city center tomorrow morning and then tomorrow afternoon my grandmother will come over. Don't really care much for that, but oh well, at least she's bringing cake, lol. Would just be cooler to spend my birthday with my boyfriend... Especially since he's all excited about my existence and all. More than can be said about me.
Well anyway, I think I'm going to get ready for bed soon if I want to get up early tomorrow. Adios.
