Graduation ceremony day
Jul. 9th, 2024 10:49 pmI had my graduation ceremony today. Nothing much to mention, since these things are pretty boring, but my mentor teacher did quote Ken from Barbie (2023) in her speech for me, so that was... something. It was honestly pretty funny. After the ceremony, Amber tried telling my mentor that I'm racist to Thalia, but she accidentally said that Thalia was racist to ME and decided to run with that because it's much funnier. White men are being oppressed by mixed women, folks, you heard it here first!
Anyway, after that bullshittery was the next graduation ceremony session and during this I had comrades who graduated. It was pretty boring again and a small child kept yelling through the entire thing, but aside from that I guess it was nice to see my comrades graduate. A few of us then grabbed a bite in the city and we decided to wait for the peak of the thunderstorm that was going on to pass, but it just... didn't... so eventually we just went home. It was already past 10 pm at that point and so I walked in the dark, in a thunderstorm. God, what a great feeling. So refreshing and exciting. Lightning's beautiful. Even saw horizontal lightning. It's been thunderstorming for about an hour now. And no, don't worry about my computer exploding, I'm typing this on a laptop that's not plugged into the power socket, haha.
Right now I think I'm going to get ready to go to bed and then in bed I might watch the thunderstorm for a bit and then sleep.
God, you should see my hair from the rain, haha. I shook it with my hand while it was soaking wet and as soon as I came home and looked in the mirror, I saw that strands were standing in every fucking direction. It doesn't even look cool punk or anything, it just looks fucking WILD, lol.
