Ryan Gosling is fucking unmatched

As soon as I learned that Ryan Gosling played a Nazi in a movie, I just HAD to watch it. I finally did after months. And despite me months ago finding it really funny to see Ken from Barbie as a skinhead with a swastika T-shirt on Google Images... this movie hit HARD. Honestly one of the most thought-provoking movies I've ever seen. I thought Gosling's acting work would probably less polished here than in his later works, as he was young and just moving out of the child acting scene here, but holy shit... Honestly probably my favorite acting from Ryan Gosling. Or maybe it was just that the plot, dialogue and directing were really good... Either way, I fucking love this movie now. It hit so different than I expected from a bald Ryan Gosling. Go watch The Believer (2001).
