Still have to update you all since the end of February... o_0 Okay, here goes.

I got really fixated on Scream for a week or two. No, I still haven't seen the latest movie, and I don't plan to put money into anyone's pocket for making that shitshow. Fuck them. Right now I'm trying to get through The Boys, by the way.

At the start of this month, I learned that my favorite teacher is being let go from my uni because they're cutting costs. Besides teaching about the United States, he also teached courses on horror movies and what they can teach us about contemporary culture, and he loves horror movies in general. I emailed him "What's your favorite scary movie?", but he didn't reply to it. I reached out to him in class, though, and he let me know that his favorite movie is 1978's Dawn of the Dead. I watched the movie (it's pretty good), and I made a drawing of my teacher with some characters from the movie. I printed it out and framed it and gave it to him as a goodbye present. He didn't really seem appreciative of it, though. He was still a bit sick, and he was really busy, so I get it, but it was a bit disappointing because I put so much time and effort into it. He let me know that the reason he didn't reply to my mail was that he thought I was jokingly referring to one of his horror courses, because apparently they were talking about Scream JUST THAT WEEK. That made me even more sad that I'll never get to attend his horror courses. During the break in my first class, the last class I'd ever have of him, I just cried a bit in the school bathroom. I just skipped my class after that and went to some stores with Myrthe to try and cheer the both of us up.

So we had two exams this week. The first went okay, and the second went pretty good, I think. Julie got totally fucked over this week, though, because some asshole in the building she lives in slashed her bike tires, and she found out as she intended to cycle to the exam building. Luckily she decided to leave early (Myrthe and I were there early too), because she had to walk. She walked quite quickly, honestly. But it really fucking suck someone did that. Fucking assholes.

In other news, I got a Nintendo Switch. Will got himself a Switch 2 and asked me if I wanted his original Switch and Pokémon Sword. It's one of those cool-looking Animal Crossing Switches. He gave it to me for free, but I bought him a beer 12-pack as a thank you. Can't believe people just give away this stuff. I honestly couldn't tell whether I was awake or dreaming! But apparently I was awake, and now I have a Switch. Will say that the Switch is kind of a boring console UI-wise. It kind of feels like I'm using an Android tablet, not a Nintendo console. But I got Pokémon FireRed and Nintendo Switch Online (which also has some games in it), and I plan on getting some multiplayer games soon, so that I can enjoy playing games with my friends and family. I think that's the only reason to even really use a Switch; it's good for having fun with your friends in real life. Will and I have also played Fortnite together for the first time last weekend. He hadn't played for YEARS, so that was pretty funny.

Yesterday, I also picked up a collection of OOR Magazines. I now have ALL of the magazines from 1990 to 1999. It's a music magazine, and in the 90s they had a lot of articles on, and interviews with, artists I love, so that's really awesome!

I think that's all for now? Yeah. Bye.
