Angry ranting
Jul. 27th, 2024 09:20 pmI was sent a news article today and it surprised me a bit. In 2021, 63% of the youth between 13 and 16 in Amsterdam was okay with homosexuality, and now it's only 43%. It's not nearly as bad everywhere in the country, but still. Trans people in the Netherlands get abused SEVEN times more than cis people. What the fuck is going on with people nowadays? I mean, part of it is that there are more immigrants in Amsterdam than a lot of other parts of the country, and they tend to be more religious and, what a surprise, that means being less accepting to queer folk. But it's also that the popular political parties have been acting like queerness and transgenderism is being shoved down children's throats. The only thing I'd love to see being shoved down those politicians' throats is a shotgun. For legal reasons, that's a joke. And on social media the hate against queers is also only growing. I don't get how these dumbasses see it as "unnatural" when just about every mammal group has gay animals. It's fucking nature, dipshits! Thinking it's weird is a disgrace to God, if you believe in Them. Burn in Hell and up yours! Hopefully people will pull their heads out of their asses soon.
In completely other news, did any of you hear about the Runway AI scandal? Those sons of bitches scraped YouTube videos and even pirated movies and shows to train their video generating AI. Christ on a bike, that's not good publicity. I thought that the news that came out about a week ago about some companies transscribing and scraping the scripts of YouTube videos to train their Large Language Models was already pretty shocking, because they were BIG companies that stole from BIG YouTubers (and a lot of smaller ones). But these fuckers actually stole content from companies such as Nintendo as well. And they went against Google's terms of service. God, they're going to be fucking assassinated for that shit, LOL. Serves them right. It's such scummy behavior. And illegal. I hope they get sued into bankruptcy. Can't wait for the AI bubble to burst, so that we can focus on using that shit on actual useful stuff like in healthcare, instead of only fucking each other over with it.
